Meet Dr. Angela Ross

Dr. Angela Ross

Angela V. Ross, DMD

Orthodontics is unequivocally the best profession, hands down! Where else can you contribute to people’s lives, and have them contribute to yours equally? I love my job because of what it gives to people I care about, and how rewarding it is in my life.

Education

In order to attain the highest quality education, I earned the following educational certificates:

  • Dental Degree, Boston University
  • Specialty Residency in Orthodontics, Boston University
  • Board Certification (ABO: American Board of Orthodontics), St. Louis

Continuing Education

I am constantly taking continuing education classes in conventional braces and Invisalign because orthodontics is an ever-changing field with new techniques, new approaches, and new materials. As a part of my continuing education, I recently completed a full day course on Laser Applications for orthodontists. I have also taken courses on Temporary Anchorage Devices (T.A.D.S.) and currently utilize them in our practice. I also spent three days in November at the Invisalign summit in Las Vegas reviewing new techniques and advances with Invisalign, especially for Elite Providers. Our practice is proud to be one of only a few Elite Providers in the state of Minnesota!

Experience

After opening my practice 25 years ago, I am still excited to come to work every day. My profession is a combination of biomechanics and art. The result is the unique ability to create beautiful smiles and improve self-esteem for patients of any age. I appreciate that my patients genuinely feel that the quality of their lives has been improved, both physically and emotionally, after going through orthodontic treatment.

Family Life

I am originally from Summit, New Jersey, and have called Wayzata my home since 1986. My husband and I have three children and a golden retriever. When I’m not in the office, I love to ski, snowboard, bike, run and travel. Most of all, though, I enjoy spending time with my family.

I also volunteer at Breck School, am an Orthodontic Mentor for Undergraduate Dental Students, and a Hospice Volunteer. I think it is important to help those in need, and I enjoy donating my time and energy to our wonderful community.
